Kapuso style icon Heart Evangelista was deeply offended by the accusations made by a netizen who questioned her animal rights advocacy after posting a fur-inspired OOTD on Instagram.

Netizen @yokomccartney bashed the Kapuso actress after seeing her outfit in the social media site saying, “You always say you love animals and yet you contribute to their pain and sufferings by wearing them.”

The Kapuso primetime actress immediately replied to @yokomccartney's comment and clarified that she is only wearing 'faux fur.'

According to velufur.com, faux fur is any textile fabric that is designed to resemble real fur. This material is usually crafted from synthetic fibers that are processed and made to match the appearance of different types of animal fur.
